Certificate of inheritance

An heir or a community of heirs often requires a certificate of inheritance for legitimization. The certificate of inheritance is applied for at the competent probate court or at a notary.

There is no application deadline. Depending on whether different certificates of inheritance have been applied for by different persons, a disputed certificate of inheritance procedure can also be carried out. In addition (or alternatively), an action to determine the heirs can also be initiated.
